Areas of Competition

Delegates should be able to express themselves and project a pleasant personality. She should be articulate with excellent social and conversational skills. Judges will spend time with each delegate to learn about her successes, talents, goals and ambitions. Judges may ask current event questions. They will be evaluating contestant’s poise, charm, confidence and ability to communicate. Interviews are 3 minutes in length in a panel style setting.

Delegates compete in swimsuits of their choice. Swimsuits must be in good taste. (no thongs) Attention is focused on the confidence within which each contestant carries herself.

Delegates compete in their choice of an age appropriate, floor length gown.  Attention is focused on each contestant's overall appearance, self-confidence, sense of style, beauty and elegance she brings to the gown of her choice.

Delegates will be evaluated on confidence, communication skills, intelligence, authenticity, poise, and ability to think under pressure. Contestants are expected to answer thoughtfully while demonstrating professionalism and grace.
